Launched over 2 years ago, the company enjoys an increasing flow of ORGANIC traffic (9 million unique visitors per month), and revenue through paid premium expert services, targeted ads and lead generation for 3rd party repair services and upgrades.

Product Manager, Monetization

San Mateo, CA

Job Description:
The product manager (Director or Senior Manager) will own product requirements for all features related to monetization, including our ad strategy, page optimization, analytics, and our premium subscription business. While being an expert on monetization, the product manager needs to be sensitive to the overall user experience, as it relates to our community of experts and askers. You will report directly to the VP of Product, and will be a key hire for the FixYa product and design team.

This position requires the following responsibilities:

* Define the right feature set and product road map to drive monetization of FixYa.
* Define product requirements for key features, working with our in-house web designers. This includes drafting specs as well as wireframes for the features.
* Work with engineering and marketing teams to execute the product road map, with guidance from management.

Qualifications:

* Experience in product management or related fields including user experience designer for a consumer Internet product or service.
* Must be passionate about emerging web technologies, Web 2.0 and community building with a demonstrated track record of execution.
* Experience with web data analysis. Knowledge of analytic tools like Omniture and WebTrends is a big plus.
* Knowledge of tools like Google AdSense, and various ad networks are a big plus.

Web UI Designer

We are looking to hire a Web UI designer to build world-class user experience for FixYa.com. We are looking for relevant experience in visual design and user interaction design. The position requires a passion for details as well as the big picture. You will be part of a design & product team, starting with initial brainstorming and ideation, and most importantly designing all the visual elements of the site as part of the team.

This position requires the following responsibilities:

* Meticulously think through every aspect of FixYa's user experience, putting users' needs and expectations first.
* Create mockups of UI designs and page components that optimize different site objectives.
* Create graphic designs for banner ads, landing pages, and other monetization modules.
* Create all graphical assets needed to develop a web interface including icons, controls, and layout elements.
* Analyze, design, and architect successful user experiences.

Qualifications:

* 2-5 years experience designing and implementing user interfaces for websites.
* Excellent web UI design skills, including screen layouts, information design, understanding of color, and typography.
