Member Care

Member Care Representative

This position will assist with member account/profile management, review, and editing and must have strong computer proficiency. The position requires excellent spoken and written communication abilities, proofreading and editorial skills a must. The position will involve direct contact with members, and the candidate must be enthusiastic about working with others in problem solving. The representative must able to take initiative in taking creative, solution-minded approaches to problem solving.


* Demonstrated writing experience, including ability to write clearly, concisely, and with attention to tone
* Excellent proofreading skills with an emphasis on accuracy, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
* Spoken communication skills
* Excellent administrative and organizational skills

Product Management

Product Manager

This individual will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and overseeing the implementation of features and functionality of the website. The ideal candidate will have previous experience developing product requirements for an online, consumer service. In addition, the candidate must be able to effectively manage cross-functional teams of stakeholders from throughout the organization.


* Experience working for a company/organization that develops and runs an online service, preferably a consumer-oriented service.
* Experience writing product requirements documents and functional requirements documents. This includes experience developing wireframes using tools such as Visio and/or graphics programs.
* An understanding of Information Architecture and a passion for defining a highly-usable online experience.
* Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, solve complex problems, and produce high-quality results.
* Knowledge of and experience with the reporting requirements of an online product.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* BA/BAS in computer science or related field


Java Application Engineer

The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-tier website development using Java/J2EE technologies. The candidate will be an individual contributor within the software development team responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation and implementation of new product features. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of entire development initiatives.


* Must be familiar with advanced principles of object oriented analysis, design and programming.
* Experience with multi-tier website development in a Java/J2EE environment, including experience with Hibernate, Struts, and Web Services.
* Expert knowledge of relational databases, including schema design and advanced queries. MySQL experience is a plus.
* Expert knowledge of XML.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to take responsibility for deliverables.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
* Hands on experience with both Windows and Linux.
* Hands-on with one or more source control tools.
* BA/BAS in computer science or related field.
